Meditate and pray through Isaiah 6:1-10
Give thanks an encouraging youth weekend in Church. Thank God for the enthusiasm, fellowship, and fun had by all involved. Pray that the children may have been encouraged to be prayer warriors and commit to developing regular daily devotions. Pray too that it may have been an encouragement to the young people to put on the armour of God as they face temptations in this world.
Give thanks for the opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of communion last weekend. Pray for all who participated on Sunday in particular Miss Cheryl Wilson and Mr Dougie Hamilton who entered into membership of the church. Pray that God would guide and enable them and all of us to fulfill our commitment to God and our congregation.
Pray for GB leaders as they take Junior and Senior groups away on Saturday. Pray for a good day of fun and safety in all the activities.
Pray for all those involved in Childrens’ work on a Sunday. Pray for Sunday School Teachers and Junior Church leaders that they might know God’s help as they teach the children and that the children might settle and listen attentively.
Pray too for those involved in Creche.
Pray for Ray Ortland as he comes to Speak to our congregation on Sunday 22nd. Pray that God would lead him as he prepares for the service and that God’s presence might be real among us. Pray for Ray and his wife in the many speaking engagements that they are involved in during the forthcoming week.
Pray for all who are involved in Bible Studies in the coming week that there might be a real sense of fellowship and growth. Pray for the leaders as they prepare. Pray too for a deepening hunger in our congregation to study God’s word at home and in fellowship.
Pray for Parent and Toddlers as plans are being made for the Dinner on Friday 3rd June. Pray that God might use this as an evangelistic opportunity with the ladies and that as bookings are being taken at present a good number would plan to attend.
We pray for all members of our Congregation pray Lord if they don’t know you as Saviour and Lord that that seed will be sown along the way and develop into fruition, Lord speak to all in their daily walk with you.
Help us Lord to pray to you in meaningful words and to pray in all forms privately, in our families and at prayer meetings as was the pattern in the early church. Amen
Jesus reminded us that: "Those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be exalted." Pray for willingness and openness to learn the difficult lesson of Humility.
Pray for Rev Curry at this time that God might give him daily strength, courage and direction as He ministers and preaches. Pray for continued recovery from recent illness. Pray for God’s hand upon Lorna and the family.
Pray for Maureen Stevenson as she begins on Friday (13th) to make her homeward journey from Livinstonia. Pray for safety in travel. Give thanks for an encouraging time spent at the hospital and Ballykajoni. Maureen’s dad took ill and has been in hospital during this past week. Pray for Maureen and the family at this anxious time. Pray too for a patient who is very ill at present time.
Pray for those taking exams in the near future. Pray for clear minds to assist in study and that they will achieve the required results from higher level exams, GCSE, AS Level and University exams. Pray for those who are completing higher education and who may be having difficulty choosing what to do or obtaining employment. May they know God’s leading and presence.
Pray for those within the Congregation facing times of anxiety and disappointment. Pray for recovery from sickness and operations. Pray too for those who are frail and for all who care for those that are sick and elderly.
Pray for those who are lonely or are missing a loved one. May God comfort them in their hour of need. Pray for those recently bereaved and in days gone by. May God put his arms around them as they mourn.
